WALLPAPER

* Is my wallpaper suitable for a bathroom or kitchen?
Not all wallpapers are suitable for the conditions of a kitchen or bathroom. If you are concerned about the potential effects, we recommend to choose a vinyl wallpaper with a kitchen and bathroom finish.

* Can I hang a new wallpaper on top of an existing wallpaper?
We wouldn't recommend it, because it affects the result and it will increase the chances that your new wallpaper will start to peel.

* Can I clean my wallpaper?
Under the product details of each individual item in our webshop you'll find a washability-symbol which indicates whether and (in case this is possible) how your wallpaper can be cleaned. Below you find an explanation of the washability-symbols used:

* How do I apply the wallpaper to my wall?
How you should apply the wallpaper to your wall depends on the type of wallpaper you have chosen. On the product page of each individual item you'll find the hanging instructions that apply to that specific article. On the product page you will also find important information about the pattern repeat, the pattern match and the type of wallpaper glue that should be used.

* What is the difference between the pattern 'repeat' and 'match'?
The pattern repeat measures the distance between the start and the end of a pattern (in other words: the pattern repeat indicates after how many centimeters the pattern repeats), whilst the pattern match provides a measurement of how offset the pattern is in relation to the strip beside it. Below you find an explanation of the three most common pattern matches:

Free match: a free match means that no pattern matching is required. You do not have to take the pattern into account when calculating the number of rolls you need.

Straight match: a straight match means that the pattern of the wallpaper strip should match in a straight horizontal line with the pattern of the next strip of wallpaper. Please take the pattern match into account for the calculation of th enumber of rolls required.

Offset match: an offset match, also known as half drop, means that the pattern of a strip matches the pattern of the next strip by halving the repeat. Please take the pattern match into account for the calculation of the number of rolls required.

Reverse alternate lengths: with reverse alternate lengths, each lane must be stuck in the opposite direction from the previous one. You do not have to take the pattern into account when calculating the number of rolls you need.

* How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Once you have found your perfect wallpaper design, you can use the wallpaper calculator on each product page to calculate how many rolls of wallpaper your project will require. All you have to do is to enter the measurements of your walls into the wallpaper calculator.

* What does the batch number on the label mean?
The batch number on the label of the wallpaper roll is the production number of the wallpaper. When your project requires more than one wallpaper roll, you should use     wallpaper from the same batch to avoid possible shade variations between the rolls.

PASTE

* Which wallpaper paste should I use?
The kind of wallpaper glue you should use depends on the type of wallpaper you have chosen.  On the product page (under product information) of each individual item you can find the recommended type of wallpaper glue. Click here for more information about the different types of wallpaper glue.

* How much wallpaper paste do I need?
Once you have found the right wallpaper for your room, you can use our wallpaper glue calculator which appears just after you have added the wallpaper rolls to your shopping cart. Based on the type of wallpaper and the number of wallpaper rolls in your shopping cart, the calculator indicates which kind of wallpaper glue you need and how many packages of this glue your project requires. In your shopping cart you have the option to add the required packages of glue to your order before you proceed to checkout.

* What is the difference between a paste-the-wall and conventional wallpaper?
With a paste-the-wall-wallpaper you simply paste the wall with wallpaper glue rather than the wallpaper. This specially designed material is much stronger than traditional wallpaper and requires no soaking time.
